BMS Music Sales online sales policies

These policies apply only to BMS (Briwell Music Sales) relative to ecommerce purchasing of musical gifts and novelties. For BMGI products (audio & video components and accessories), please contact our BMGI office via the link above.

Order Processing

It is our intention to process orders as quickly as possible once your order has been transmitted and confirmed to us from PayPal. Please allow 3 business days to process your order under regular & standard daily conditions. It should be expected that other times (such as Christmas, Easter or 1 business day before a long weekend) may be recognized as “high activity” delivery times and therefore shipping may take longer than normal.

Shipping

Shipping times may vary (depending on the season and destination).

For normal times, please allow 3 business days for us to process, configure and ship your order. Because of weight and size restrictions, P.O. boxes are not acceptable as shipping addresses. Proper addresses (recognized by Canadian Postal Services, Purolator, FedEx or any other recognized carriers) will be accepted. For any orders over and above the value of $100 (Canadian currency), additional charges may apply to cover shipping insurance. Shipping rates are calculated by the value of the order.

Note * For all purchases to destinations outside of North America, an additional $30.00 (USD) flat rate charge will be applied at checkout. Orders placed without the $30 freight charge will not be shipped until that charge is remitted.

Taxes

Both PST (Provincial Sales Tax) as well as the GST (Federal Sales Tax) will be applied in British Columbia. Most other provinces and territories within Canada are subject to GST only. HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) taxes are applied to all purchases & shipments to the provinces of Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. For the purposes of the PayPal software, the HST is split between "PST" and "GST". Both British Columbia PST & Canada GST taxes are applied to all purchases & shipments outside Canada. Should it be deemed necessary, it is the responsibility of all non-Canadian residents to submit the proper forms to their own National taxation offices for tax reimbursements (if and when appropriate) pertaining to each country regulations and specifications.

Shipping & Handling

Our rates have been calculated on an upward sliding scale for the purchaser’s benefit. In other words… as the total of your purchase increases, this rate has been calculated to be reduced. Once the value of your purchase reached and exceeds $100.00, the rate will remain fixed at the lowest rate we have established.

Warranty

There is no warranty on any current product unless otherwise stipulated

Product Sales

All sales are final. BMS will not accept any returns. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to remove or add product at time of checkout.
